Pacer Financial is an independent national wholesaling company. Pacer Financial partners with companies that need help distributing their products to financial advisors. Pacer ETFs, distributed by Pacer Financial, are strategy-driven exchange traded funds that help investors prepare for retirement using rules-based indices to minimize downside risk and screening for quality stocks.
Pedrera first worked with Pacer Financial to develop their corporate website, which was designed by their in-house marketing team. Pedrera supported the internal team with technical and user experience design consulting. Pedrera then implemented the team’s design as a responsive website developed with the ExpressionEngine content management system. Pedrera also set up the hosting infrastructure, launched the site, and continues to support Pacer Financial with ongoing maintenance.
The success of the corporate website led to more web development work with Pacer Financial. Over the years, three additional websites have been developed in collaboration with the marketing team. This includes the Pacer ETFs website, which is highly complex with many custom-developed features, such as the following:
- Registration, login and user management for financial professionals
- Gated content for registered users
- Resource library with material ordering forms
- Integration of all user management functions with Microsoft Dynamics CRM via API programming
- Integration of third-party financial data (ETF trading data) from multiple sources, centralized into a single fund dashboard
- Custom data visualizations of fund data using HighCharts JavaScript library
